Facilitate partnerships with performance venues for showcasing original compositions
-
Provide songwriters with opportunities to pitch their songs.
Our Values
We believe that songwriting is a very rewarding and sometimes therapeutic activity. We want to share our passion for songwriting with others. Our organizational values are:
-
We believe that songwriting enhances personal well-being, supports mental health, and is a powerful outlet for self-expression.
-
The Songwriters Association is open to all individuals without negative or positive discrimination.
-
The Association is open to all song genres
-
Every songwriter is treated equally, whether a beginner or a professional
-
As an organization, we remain non-partisan and do not take stances on political issues.
-
We nurture and celebrate songwriting as an enriching pursuit, not solely as a pathway to musical fame.
-
We strongly believe that songwriting is an art form that should be promoted as such.
-
We avoid divisive activities such as songwriting competitions or other activities that can discourage songwriters.
Our Vision
We want to create a community where songwriters can meet, exchange ideas, collaborate, grow and create lasting relationships. The songwriters association will act as a hub from which songwriting initiatives can start.
